My soul has never felt love or has been taken care of outside of its owner. My mind has never had one true love. My heart grew cold, almost to the point that I almost lost my soul. I’ve craved something real. Something within my touch. Something I could call my own. Mind, body, and soul, my heart doesn’t roam, but it doesn’t have a home! – Keema •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Every story has a beginning, my writing story started during my adolescent years. My language arts teacher had given me so much credit on a paper I had written, then advised me that I should look into writing often because it always amazed him whenever I wrote. At the time I found it hard to believe, but I took heed to his advice. I developed a love for writing in middle school. The more I wrote, the more it came with ease. Over time it became my passion. I began writing poetry at the age of 13 years old. Little before I knew it the words just flowed. Sometimes my mind would be filled with so many words that it became an obsession and I would have to write down the words otherwise it would drive me crazy in a good way. Before I knew it, poetry was created. Metaphors, subliminal messages, and metaphors were a part of my writing, it all came so naturally. When I was in elementary school, I always had a love for poetry, reading, and writing, I just never utilized the gift of writing. Over the years I would write to express some of the things I had gone through my experience in life, love, and relationships. My life has been one hell of a roller coaster ride, but I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world. I am who I am because of it ALL. I'm better, not bitter, wiser.
The words that I write come from my mind, heart, and adversity I've experienced.
Welcome to parts of my world!!!
